“Vocation is where your greatest passion meets the world greatest need.”

Frederick Buechner

I have always loved the quote above because it explains why I work in this field.  It was in high school when I knew I wanted to assist women in childbirth. I completed the NOVA Childbirth Education Certification program and trained to be a labor and postpartum doula in 2010. I have been training as a midwifery assistant since 2011.  I am so thankful for the education I received, which has given me the confidence and skills to serve family's during such a new and exciting season of life. The whole family benefits when mothers and babies are given the love and support they need throughout pregnancy and childbirth. I am a mother to two beautiful children Jude (5) and Olivia (3) and am so thankful for my husband Aaron who supports me in this passion.
