Credentials: Bachelor’s of Social Work, Certified Labor Doula, Certified Childbirth Educator

I’m a happy wife of 25 years and mother of five, to three daughters and two sons. I have been supporting and educating families in pregnancy and childbirth since 2006 and have been training childbirth educators and doulas since 2010. My driving passion is to see mothers and babies in pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period served according to their immeasurable worth. When mom and baby are well loved and respected during their most vulnerable years together, the entire family benefits – and healthy, empowered families are what fortify healthy, whole societies. My energies in training Educators and Doulas are fueled by my hope to see the maternal health model in the U.S. improve, while also seeing the humanization of birth take place on a global scale, for underprivileged families in the developing world.
