At NOVA, our mission has always been to humanize birth, offering women compassionate, holistic care throughout one of the most significant transitions in their lives. Pursuing wellness before and after childbearing years necessitates assessing your health at each stage of life.
Whether it’s your first gynecological exam, a preventive screening, hormone or fertility check-up, or simply a space to talk about your health, NOVA’s Certified Nurse Midwife is here to offer personal, holistic, and humanizing care.
Meet Caitlyn
Caitlyn Schollmeier, CNM has walked alongside hundreds of families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She helps address root causes of gynecological issues, fertility challenges, hormonal changes and more. She strives to empower her clients, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and educated in every season of their lives. This is why her clients love her. She’s known for her approachability, expertise, and cares deeply about a woman’s comfort, confidence, and autonomy.
Monday appointments are held at NOVA Birth Services, 5045 Old Hickory Blvd, Hermitage
Tuesday-Friday appointments will be opened up soon at our Murfreesboro location; details coming soon!
What can I expect during my visit?
Let us help you feel at ease for your appointment. You can expect options like:
warm tea, calming aromatherapy, a stress ball or comb for acupressure comfort, use of a heat pack, peaceful music, Lila™ patient gowns (size inclusive to fit all body types), and cervical preparation or pain management before your visit, if appropriate.

NOVA’s Well-Woman Care services are self-pay. Costs are listed under each appointment type.
We are happy to provide NOVA clients (from the past 5 years) a 25% discount on their initial patient visit. We plan to bill insurance in the future, and will update our website and clients as soon as it becomes possible.
Lab costs are billed separately and are not included in the client’s appointment fee. Our staff will inform clients of the costs associated with the labs before scheduling a draw appointment.

We understand that life can be unpredictable! We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If it’s less than 24 hours, or a no-show, a $50 fee will apply. If there are emergent circumstances, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office. Thank you for helping us keep our schedule running smoothly for everyone.
